Is a Six-Month Notice and Working Sundays Legal? Seeking Advice on School Job Terms

vrajeshkruti
Hello seniors, I am working in a school where they have put a condition that I have to attend the school on two Sundays. Additionally, if I want to leave the job, I must give six months' notice. Legally, is this correct? How much notice period should there be? Am I not eligible to get a weekly off? They have made me sign these conditions on a simple paper (not on stamp paper). Shall we take any action?

The notice period depends on the policy and the appointment letter provided to you in writing when you joined.

A plain paper sign can't be evidence of any condition. They should have made an agreement or should have provided you with a written statement in the appointment letter, duly signed by all the approved authorized signatories.
