Dear All, I would know the health & safety approval under which act. Why we need to obtain? Is it mandatory to get the approval. What are all the documents we need to obtain.? Pls. provide the details.
No such act laid down till date. Health & Safety provision are covered in Factory Act/ Shop Act. You have to make the necessary arrangement should be done. Their are various NOC related to Health & Safety, which you needs to obtained from the respective department.. i.e. Fire NOC, Polution NOC etc.
As per section 41B of the Factories Act the occupier of factory involved in hazardous process shall lay down health and safety policy and inform the same and it's changes to Chief Inspector of factories and local authorities.
