Career Dilemma: Should I Choose a Secure Role in a Small Firm or a Contract in a Big Company?

Hello friends, I am new here. I hope to receive some help soon. I have a few months of experience. I have done my graduation abroad. My CV is appreciated by most recruiters as I had an enriching role in my internship.

Career Dilemma: Choosing Between Two Offers

My issue is I have two offers. One is a very good role in a very small company where I have heard there isn't much job security. This could accelerate my career as I do not have much experience. However, I also have one more offer for a third-party payroll in a big company for a year's contract. I would be going for my further studies based on the completion of my required work experience in two years.

From my knowledge, working on third-party payroll is not appreciated in India. Also, my role is very limited in the big company. I also think that getting a job after that could be a task. As people don't appreciate third-party employment, plus being in a big company, I can't take many leaves as and when required for finding other jobs when my contract is about to get over.

Questions to Consider

I would like to understand if:

1. Taking the on-roll with a good profile in a small company is better than off-roll with a limited profile in a big company for a year?
2. Will it be easy to get a job in a good company after working on third-party payroll in India?
3. Is it better to have a better role in a smaller company or just work for a bigger one?
4. Do Indian recruiters/companies only have an issue with candidates working for a third-party for a small company, or do they mind candidates on third-party for a big company equally?

I have very limited time to choose, hope to get a reply soon. :)

My aim is to take a job that will help me get better jobs in the future. Also, I do not want a break or gap in my career. I already have one as I was pursuing a non-academic course.

Regards.

Oh yes, most importantly, I am in HR. I had a generalist profile during an internship, and now I may be limited to recruitments in the MNC (3rd party payroll).

First of all, it's important to check where you have the most learning opportunities. Secondly, job security is also very important. If you are given the opportunity to work with a large MNC, you will have many more chances to learn because MNCs are very process-oriented. As a fresher, it's important to understand the HR processes from scratch, which will be beneficial for your future prospects.

My main question is: will it be easy to get a job after working with a third-party for an MNC, as I have heard otherwise? Also, thank you very much for taking the time to reply to my question. I appreciate it sincerely. 

The Importance of Direct Roles in HR

I would say that working in a medium-sized organization under its direct roles is better than working under third-party roles in a large organization. Putting a function like HR and personnel management itself is a very bad sign for an organization because the HR function is very vital and involves keeping confidential records and data of the entire personnel. If such a role is outsourced, then what is the credibility of the organization? Certainly, you should not accept it but start a career with an organization that considers HR as part of the organization and part of the management team.
