Dear seniors, I want to know if an employee wants to transfer his PF, will his past service of 4 years be included in the EPS scheme?

Yes, under the EPF Act, a member has the facility to transfer both their PF and Pension. Please refer to Form 13 (Revised) available on the EPF website. Nowadays, even online transfers are possible.

Usually, the transfer is supported by Annexure K, which includes the details of PF accumulations as well as pensionable service records.

PF and Pension are the two schemes framed under the same Act, i.e., EPF 52. Thus, it is desirable to maintain uniform status. However, generally, PF transfer is accepted and effected on the basis of Form 13, which is accepted only in duplicate. One Form 13 goes to the PF Section, and the other goes to Pension. Thus, if you have followed the procedure, your Pension must have been transferred. Probably, pending the update of your transfer record, your EPS balance is displayed for your current employment.

Furthermore, by deciding to withdraw pension after transferring your PF, it may lead to misrepresentation.
