Compensatory Time Off for Outstation Work

Please help me out with the issue given below. Please note that we depute our colleagues to various outstation clients' sites. We pay them the Daily Allowance (DA) of a certain amount for every single day of their stay at the site, irrespective of whether they are working or not, on a holiday or not. My query is, do we need to compensate them by giving them compensatory time off if they had worked on a non-working day?

Awaiting your response.

Thanks,

It is compulsory to give a weekly off to the employees. If any employee works on their weekly off, then yes, you will need to provide compensatory time off to those employees who work on their day off.

Thank you.
