Can I Withdraw My PF Right After Leaving My Job, or Do I Have to Wait 2 Months?

shah.hansal
Hi all, I have just left my previous organization and would like to withdraw my PF amount. The HR of my previous organization told me I can only withdraw my PF amount after the completion of 2 months from my relieving. Is that true? Do I need to wait for a 2-month period to be eligible to get my PF? Please help.

Regarding Your Query

It is correct that you can apply for PF withdrawal after 2 months from your last working day in any organization. That is a PF rule, and the logic behind it is that employees are no longer employed with any employer for two months because withdrawal is exempted in continuous employment.
