Minimum wages are depends on the state. Every state will have their own minimum wages pertaining to the industry. You can check it based on your locality. All cadre's in employment is covered under minimum wage.

1- Skilled
2- Semi Skilled
3- Unskilled

The minimum wages are set periodically by the concerned department of the state and therefore, it veries from time to time. The provisions of the act are applicable to white collar employees as well as the employees are divided into three categories
1. Skilled
2. Semi-skilled and
3. Unskilled
For ex - the minimum wages for different industry categories in Maharashtra for six month period are as follows Maharashtra Minimum Wages July to December 2013, Special Allowance and Minimum Wages July 2013
