I am an HR professional with 1.5 years of industry experience. I am originally from Vapi and have completed an MBA in HRM. I have a deep interest in statutory compliance and the training and development field. I am seeking information on any good HR courses that may enhance my job prospects. Additionally, I am considering enrolling in a lead auditor training course on EMS and OHSAS. The course costs 12k per session; would this be a valuable addition to my skill set?

Is 12k Worth It for the Course?

If you are looking for a career in the auditing field, yes, the EMS and OHSAS lead auditor course will help you. It would also assist you in becoming more environment-oriented. Therefore, decide if you want to pursue a career in the environmental sector. Nowadays, most industries are focusing on the environment. Additionally, you need to fix your mind on a specialization and explore the courses offered by various institutions that can help you achieve your life goals. EMS could be part of your agenda but not a core function.

I think 12k is for the internal auditor course and not for the lead auditor course. I believe the charges per course are 20k or more. It is worth investing in at any time in your lifetime as it adds value to your resume and professional life. There are many certification agencies that conduct this course. A few, to my knowledge, are as follows:
