Understanding PF Challan Calculation: How Do I Calculate A/C 21 and A/C 22 for Salaries?

sharmanirajnk
Dear All, I want some clarification on PF challan calculation. In our company, there are two employees who are getting 30,000 and 24,000 as basic salary, respectively, and PF on actual basic i.e., 3,600 and 2,880. In this case, how can I calculate a/c 21 and a/c 22?

For A/C 10 for Pension Fund, 21 for EDLI, and 22 for EDLI admin charges, the limit is 6,500/-. This 6,500 limit applies to all PF account holders under the EPF Act.

Also, we may exempt a/c 21 if an employee is covered by another life insurance policy. Seniors, please correct me if I am wrong.

Thanks & Regards,

Respected sir, I would like to confirm whether, if an unskilled worker has a basic salary of Rs. 6906, his one-day salary is calculated as 6906 x 1/26 = 266.

My query is: What are the EPF wages for PF deduction? Is it 266 or 250 (calculated as 6500 x 1/26 = 250)?
