Good Evening! Maybe my situation is a little weird, but I really want all of you to help me with it. I recently joined a company located in Raipur (C.G) as an HR executive. Before I proceed further, I honestly want to tell you all one thing: I am just a B.Com (specialization in CRM) student and have no clue about HR policies and other stuff. However, I'm pursuing an MBA in HR from Symbiosis (distance mode), which I think will be of little help only. In addition to this, I have landed in a company that does not adhere to any rules and regulations. I always wanted to get into this department, and I really think I can do my best in this field. But I am here in a place where even payroll has its own definition. Changing the company is not a solution because in Raipur, work culture is not as developed as in another place. I have worked before in companies like HSBC and GE Capital, and hence I know how good HR policies and procedures are. I really want to learn and change the HR functioning way over here. However, I need to do it by myself as my boss is not helping me out (this is how it is in Raipur, unfortunately).

So, firstly, I want all of you to suggest how to learn the HR policies and all related forms and acts, etc., and from where to start. If anyone can help me with the list of the same, it would be a great help.
