I wish to know if an employee of a company takes leave from Monday to Friday, will the following Saturday and Sunday be considered as holidays, or will their salary get deducted for these two days?

It depends on HR policies and employees' pending leaves. As per the act, if any employee takes leave for the period Monday to Friday, and they worked on Saturday, then Sunday will be a holiday. Otherwise, it will affect their salary.
