Small Team, Big Compliance Issue: How Do We Respond to an EPF Notice?

Hi Friends, we have only 4 employees in our organization, but a notice has been issued by the enforcement officer for the submission of relevant records. We are not eligible to come under EPF. Can you please help me with the letter format?

Please submit a reply to the notice mentioning that as the strength of the company is low, the provisions of the PF Act are not applicable to your establishment. Kindly allow them to inspect your records.
