Can I Claim House Rent Deductions for a Career Break from September to November 2013?

Hello All, I was working until August 30th in the year 2013. I took a break and started working again in December 2013. Am I eligible to claim deductions for house rent for the months of September to November 2013 in my new company? Is this possible? Any answers would be much appreciated.

As you mentioned that you were not employed from September to November, and the company did not pay you the HRA, there is no confusion in this case as HRA rebate can only be claimed for the period of employment. Since you were neither employed nor had income added to your annual income during that specific period.
