Dear Ashle,
Checking the Status of Your EPF Withdrawal Request
It is not a general practice to keep the member's signed Form-10C and 19 in advance at the time of leaving. Although it doesn't matter, as it will be submitted to the department after 60 days only. In your case, they might not have submitted the form to the department. So, I would like to suggest you kindly check the status of your withdrawal request first if you know your EPF A/c No.
You can check it at
http://epfindia.com <link outdated - home link added> EPFO.
If your form is submitted to the department, it will show some message. But if it says "no record found," then it clearly means that your forms are not submitted.
Steps to Take if Forms Are Not Submitted
If so, then it is better to send a reminder letter to your erstwhile organization regarding non-processing your EPF withdrawal request. Send the reminder letter through speed post and wait for their response.
Please note that whenever your form will come in process at EPFO, you will receive a message from EPFO that your request is under process.
Hope this will help you.
Regards
