Can Anyone Share US IT Recruitment Process Details

It's been 3 months from now of my US staffing career. However I learned Significant things like visa types, time zones, negotiation and bit more too. But I need a complete process details. It means I want to know how the BDM (or) Accounts Manager acquiring clients through market reasearch? How they get paid from client side? How could they get new businesse from exsisting clients?
