The Payment of Bonus Act - 1965

An amendment has been proposed to extend the wage ceiling from Rs.10,000/- to Rs.15,000/- and also for the computation of bonus from Rs.3,500/- to Rs.5,000/-. The minimum bonus has also been extended from 8.33% to 11%. On which date does it take effect?

As you have posted, the above amendment on the Bonus Act is only a proposal. Hence, there is no question of the effective date.
