Worried About Joining Accenture After Leaving HCL Early? Let's Discuss Background Check Concerns

newGuy16
Hi! I am a B.Tech fresher, and I had no job after completing my B.Tech, so I decided to work at HCL Technologies Ltd. BPO serving as a TSO part-time. HCL BPO requires employees to work for at least 6 months to obtain an experience letter. However, after 3 months, I got placed in Accenture, which is also a registered member of NSR. I left HCL before 6 months without any notice and got marked as absconded (that's what most freshers do, as otherwise, they ask for 50k. No such bond was signed).

Concerns About Joining Accenture

Will there be an issue when I join Accenture? In my NSR profile, my current employment is still listed as an HCL BPO server (not verified). I am joining Accenture as an Associate Software Engineer, so will there be any issues with the background check? Many freshers leave HCL every month without notice, but I haven't heard of any cases where it caused problems when they joined other companies. Should I be concerned about providing my ITPIN to Accenture after joining?

Well, as you have not completed the probation and left HCL in just three months, you do not need to serve the notice period.

Also, regarding the background check, have you mentioned your current profile in your CV? If not, you will need to clarify this with HR if you don't have the relieving letter.

No, I have not mentioned anything about this in my CV. BPO experience doesn't count in a technical software engineering job. I logged into my NSR profile and removed HCL as the current employer.

Hi, I too got selected by HCL. I signed my appointment letter, but they asked me to come for training starting July 28. I am unable to attend due to some personal issues. If I abscond from the company, will I face any problems? Please help me, I am confused.
