Need Help with Foreign Travel Policy: How Do You Handle Daily and Accommodation Allowances?

Hello all, thank you all for providing good information for starters. I work for an Oil & Gas company where I have been given the responsibility of preparing Mediclaim and Foreign Travel policies. Currently, I am working on the Foreign Travel policy and have some doubts. If anyone is experienced in managing these policies, please help me clarify the following points:

1. Daily Allowance per day to be provided to employees who are traveling abroad.
2. Accommodation Allowance per day for employees on tour.

Unless one knows to which countries your employees are traveling and what their designation/position is in your company, it will be difficult to answer your queries.

Thank you for your message.

The individuals traveling would be from senior manager level and above. They will be traveling to the USA, Canada, Oman, Kazakhstan, Sri Lanka, Muscat, and other Gulf countries.
