Worried About TCS Background Check? How to Handle a Closed First Company Experience

Hi Team, I have received offers from TCS, and its joining is very soon, but I am afraid to join as TCS conducts a very strict background verification. I have around 4 years of experience, and my first company is closed as it was a very small start-up. I worked there for around 1.5 years, and I don't want to lose that experience. As proof, I have an appointment letter and a relieving letter from that company. Since it was a small company, I used to receive my salary as cash in hand, so there is no bank statement.

Questions Regarding TCS Offer

I have a few questions regarding the above:

1. Should I join TCS?
2. After joining TCS, how long does the background check take?
3. Will my first company being closed create a problem in TCS or lead to absconding from TCS?

Guys, kindly suggest; it is really urgent. Please reply ASAP.

Don't worry. If you have proof of the appointment letter and if what you say is genuine, that the old company has been closed, I guess there should be no reason for you to worry. I suggest you join TCS. Good luck. Don't worry about how much time they take; just do your good work and be honest; the rest will fall in line.
