in my view month salary means in case of payment of minimum wages in case of contract labour or regular employees as specified is 30 days it may be paid on 7 or 10 day in succeeding of preceding month.
The payment of statutory amounts is fixed irrespective of the organisational payment mode of salaries.
Financial year means 1 april to 31 march
calender year means 1 january to 31 december
last date for esi payment is 20 th of every month and pf contributions is 15th of every month
keeping in view of this situation every company is to evaluate its procedures to avoid confusion in calculation of wages or others
