During the construction of the factory premises after passing of factory plans by factory inspector, you will have to take the registration under Building and Construction Workers Act 1996. Also for contractors engaged for these activities will be covered under Contract Labour Act. Hence registration certificate under Contract Labour Act will have to be taken by you and labour license by the contractor engaging 20 or more workers. After completion of civil work and before starting the production you will have to obtain factory license.
