Please let me know what is the due date of payment for Half yearly PT (for Kerala & Tamilnadu).

We the principal employer awarded some project work to the contractor for a limited period, in turn the contractor who is engaged some contract labours to executing the same. Kindly let us know whether the aforesaid contract laour attract Professional act ? further what are the obligation of principal employer.

Dear Sir,
We are employed in Gujarat with our corporate office at Mumbai and salary is being credited from Corporate office. Since the first day, our employees professional tax being deducted and deposited in Mumbai only.
Now we want to deposite tax Gujarat against employees working at Gujarat. Will there be any legal problem?
Or do we need to get new Professional tax number?
