Dear all, I have been working as a Technical Executive in a PSU for the last 6 years. Although I receive good pay and other benefits, I find the working culture in my company to be hopeless, full of red tape, and lacking respect for individual intelligence. As such, I feel the urge to leave the organization and start fresh. I have a strong academic record and I am interested in pursuing an MBA from a recognized institute. I am currently preparing for it. However, I am now 30 years old and I fear that my age may hinder my chances of being preferred.
Seeking Advice on Pursuing an MBA
Dear Cite HR members, can you kindly suggest or comment on the following:
1. Should I pursue an MBA course, considering my age?
2. Is preference given to younger candidates over those with 5 years of work experience in the selection process for a firm?
Thank you in advance.
Regards,
Amit Kumar
