New To IT Recruitment, Need Your Advise ?

I am new to IT recruitment, so i know the flow of the recruitment by knowledge but no hands on experience so can anybody guide how i can improve the following skills [Considering i will join company next month]
1. Sourcing resumes effectively.
2. Using job portal.
3. Telephonic skills.
So i am at home now so how i can work on these skills before joining company.

1.use external sources,it will effective to source ur profiles and if ur company providing the budget then utilise in consultancies,advertisement and all
if ur company not providing budget then go fo social networking,drop cv,portals u wil get good response.
