Labour License Renewal/Registration Procedure in Andhra Pradesh

Friends, you might be aware that the Labour license renewal/registration procedure has been changed in Andhra Pradesh under the AP Shops and Establishments Act. Hence, I am herewith sharing the details for your reference.

Please be informed that you may pay the prescribed renewal/registration fee along with the attached documents to the nearest E-Seva or MEE Seva to obtain the license. There is no need to visit the Labour office and submit the documents physically.

E-Seva personnel may send the scanned documents to the concerned jurisdiction for verification. Upon confirmation, you will receive your license copy.

Please note there is one labor license under the AP Shops & Establishments Act, which will be issued by the labor officer/Asst. Commissioner of Labor/Dy. Commissioner of Labor, etc. The other one is a license under the Contract Labor and Regulation Act, which will be given to state and central government companies separately.

Can anyone give an idea about the time of renewal of a labor license before the valid date? This means within 4 to 5 months of obtaining the labor license due to an increase in labor.
