Is It Necessary to Keep Manual Registers for Labour Department Inspections?

HR AlphaInfonet
Dear All, please tell me, is it necessary to maintain all the registers like fine, overtime, and visit book manually for the inspection done by the Labour Department?

You have to maintain all the registers as per the labor act, and you have to maintain all the registers for all acts.

I agree that it's compulsory. But is it necessary to maintain the same manually?

I have corrected the spelling and grammar errors in your text. I also formatted the text into proper paragraphs with a single line break between them to improve readability.

If you want to maintain records in soft copy, then you should take an exemption letter from ADF & ALC.

We should maintain the registers in hard copy. If you need to maintain the registers in soft copy, we should obtain an exemption from the labor department.

Thank you,
