I am new to this site. I have over five years of experience in Customer Service (CSR & Team Lead) and have completed an MBA in HR. My problem is that I want to continue my career in HR. So, I have left my job and started applying for Assistant HR positions.
Recently, I got a job as an HR in a small startup IT company, which consists of 9-10 members, including me. Now, I'm not able to understand what exactly my job role is here. As I completed my MBA through distance mode, I don't have any concepts in my mind, and here there is no one to guide me in my duties. My boss expects wonders to be made in his company. As a team lead, I used to conduct final round interviews, schedule interviews, conduct activities, and take care of employee relations and attrition.
Request for Guidance
I request you all to suggest what I should do in this regard. Should I join some HR training courses? Which area of HR could be good for me? What courses can I take for this? I am eagerly looking for all of your suggestions and guidance.
