Please clarify the ESIC Ceiling and EPF Ceiling Wages.

- **ESIC:** Currently ₹15,000/- and proposed to increase to ₹25,000/-
- **EPF:** Currently ₹6,500/- and proposed to increase to ₹10,000/-

Update on ESIC Ceiling

The ESIC ceiling has been raised to ₹25,000 by the central government, but the date of commencement has not yet been finalized.

You are correct, the present ESIC ceiling is Rs. 15,000/- and the EPF ceiling is Rs. 6,500/-. As of today, there have been no changes, and there is no government order for any modifications. Despite what the paper cuttings may suggest, no order has been passed at this time.

Latest ESI ceiling is at Rs 21,000/- and PF is at Rs 15,000/-. The contribution rate for ESI is 0.75% for employees and 3.25% for employers.
