Can Our New Hotel in Jaisalmer Register for Employee Provident Fund? Urgent Help Needed!

R3101
Hi everyone, I am Rohini, working with a company that is involved in Government Supplies & Hospitality. We have just opened a new establishment (hotel) in Jaisalmer with 40 employees as hotel staff, and we already have one hotel operating in Jim Corbett, Nainital.

My Queries

1. Can our Jaisalmer establishment be covered under the Employee Provident Fund?
2. I have read on your site that only organizations that are three years old can register for the Provident Fund. Since my Jaisalmer establishment is new and started just a month back, can we still register our employees for the Provident Fund?
3. If yes, what is the procedure to register my staff for the Provident Fund for my Jaisalmer hotel?
4. What documents do I need to submit for the registration of the Provident Fund for my Jaisalmer establishment?

I kindly request all members of the forum to reply at your earliest convenience as this is an urgent matter that needs to be addressed by the end of this month. I look forward to your reply.

There is no need to wait for three years. You can start your registration process and look at the attachment, which will guide you with the documents required during the submission of the registration form. For better clarity, do find a consultant to help you out, which would ease your process.

Regards.

Hi Rohini, As per the act, your establishment falls under the registration of EFP. So, you need to go through the registration.
