First of all, you need to understand why and which MBA you want to pursue. I advise going for a full-time Executive MBA or PG management program designed for working executives from top-level institutes like SP Jain, ISB Hyderabad, XLRI, and IIM.
If your job does not allow for a full-time commitment, consider a part-time MBA or Evening MBA from a reputable institute. Some institutes offering such programs include:
- JBIMS, Mumbai
- ADMI, Mumbai
- N L Dalmia, Mira Road (Mumbai)
- FMS, Delhi
- XLRI
- ISM Dhanbad
If a part-time program is not suitable, opt for an MBA from well-established central and state universities only. Avoid pursuing an MBA from private universities in India. Some good university options are:
- Pondicherry University, DDE
- University of Madras, DDE
- Anna University
- Kurukshetra University
- Bharti University
