New Employee Leave Dilemma: How Should We Categorize Their 6 Days Off?

Dear Sir, I have a concern. A person who joined 6 months ago has taken 6 days of leave. How do we need to split his leave as EL, PL, etc.?

For your kind information, both EL/PL are the same. There are other leaves like SL/ML, CL, etc. What does the leave policy of your organization say? Do you have any policy? If yes, then follow the same.

Generally, as per the law, anyone who joins any organization in the last 6 months will not enjoy the benefit of EL/PL. You can consider the CL for 2 or 3 days as per the policy, and the remaining days you shall consider for LOP.
