Hello Everyone, I am an MBA in HR from Lucknow University and got campus placement in an FMCG industry in UP East. My job profile is the same as I've always wanted, i.e., of an HR Generalist. However, gradually, I am coming to understand that although it is a good job, somewhere I am not able to learn as much as I thought I would before taking the job.
Challenges in the HR Role
The work is quite typical, where everybody in the organization thinks that HR is only good for recruitment. But I have no major interest in recruitment; instead, I am interested in performance management and training, which I am not able to focus on due to the typical mindset of the top management. Even my salary package is not that good.
While reflecting on all these points, I realize that my efficiency is decreasing, and I am worried that my career will become stagnant.
I request all my seniors to kindly provide me with solutions for this as I am having a really hard time thinking about this.
