Navigating PF Settlement and ESI Claims: Do I Need to Pay for Processing Help?

ankithagupta
I was working at a private company for 1 year and 3 months. Now, I have resigned with the proper notice period. Currently, I am working at another company. I have applied for PF settlement in my old company, but they have not responded to the resigned employee. I do not wish to continue this account with the new company. Can I still process my PF?

I have also applied for an ESI claim amount. My father was admitted to the hospital for 7 days. I submitted all the medical details to the ESI Office 4 months ago, and they mentioned that I might receive the claim amount this month. Do I need to pay any amount to the person in ESI for processing my claim, either before or after receiving the amount?

You can try to transfer the PF to the new organization from the old organization. Otherwise, call the HR department of the old organization and ask them about the PF process. Note their response. If they do not provide a proper answer, you should directly contact the PF department or explore other available claim options. Further options can be discussed as needed.

Regarding ESI

Please visit the ESI local office to inquire about the status. When you go there, make sure to bring the acknowledgment you received for submitting the application and the required claim documents.

Regards.
