Hello friends, I am very perplexed right now and therefore seek some guidance and valid suggestions from you. I have completed my B.Com from DU-SOL in 2008 and the DOEACC A level in 2009. While the DOEACC course (which is a 3-year diploma course in computers) was completed, I realized I had no great interest in pursuing a career in computers. So, I decided to try for government jobs instead. Alongside, I also pursued a 2-year certification course in the Italian language from 2010 to 2012. However, I could not secure any government job, and all the offers I am receiving from the private sector for Italian language jobs involve rotational shifts or night shifts, which I am unable to commit to.
It has been 1.5 years since I completed my language course, and I am still unemployed. Despite my continuous efforts to secure a government sector job, I am now feeling shattered and demotivated. I am contemplating accepting any job that comes my way, but considering the future, I am devastated. I have always been very ambitious, but the imprudent career choices I made have led me nowhere. Please advise me on how I can secure a decently paying, day shift job with a reputable MNC. One major issue I face is justifying the years of gap in my employment during interviews and my transitions between different career paths. I appeal to someone to assist me in securing a good job in the private sector. Initially, I am willing to accept a reasonable package, but my primary focus is on long-term career prospects in a reputable company.
Thank you for your help.
