PF Payment Procedure and Who is the immediate point of contact?

Bhargavi Sesham
Recently, we are registered under PF Organization.

To make the Provident Fund payment, we visited this site: Epfo (Govt. of India)

I have few queries regarding this so kindly clarify the following:

1. Once registered online, what is the detailed procedure for payment.

2. How are the individual PF account numbers created for all employees? And how to send their PF contributions to their respective PF accounts?

3. How to transfer the PF amount to the already existing PF accounts of employees?

4. How can an employee withdraws PF amount?

4.a. Can an employee withdraw PF amount anytime he/ she wants to?

4.b. What are the documents to be submitted to PF Office for withdrawal?

4.c. Can it be done online or sending hard-copies of the required documents to PF Office is mandatory?

5. Is withdrawing PF amount, an employer's responsibility or employee's?

6. Who is the immediate point of contact, if we need any assistance regarding PF related issues or questions? Could you please provide us their contact details if any?

Please clarify as soon as possible.

Hi,

Abhay this side:-

as per your query regarding online PF:

1. Once registered online, what is the detailed procedure for payment.

Reply- You have to generate Challan after submitting ECR file (Electronic Challan Cum Return). after that no need to submit Form 5/10/12A,3A and 6A to PF deptt..

2. How are the individual PF account numbers created for all employees? And how to send their PF contributions to their respective PF accounts?

Reply- point no-1- we can create individual PF account no for each employee through Excel sheet on monthly basis. and after making a CSV and text file with contribution we can send their pf contributions to their respective pf Accounts.

3. How to transfer the PF amount to the already existing PF accounts of employees?

Reply - After making a CSV and then text file with contribution we can transfer the PF amount to the already existing PF accounts of employees.

4. How can an employee withdraws PF amount?

Reply- After filling form 19 for PF & form 10C for Pension Scheme. both form you have to submit to PF Deptt.

4.a. Can an employee withdraw PF amount anytime he/ she wants to?

Reply- No- after 5 Years and after 7.5 years he / she can withdraw PF amount as a Loan (Advance) with specified reason like Sister marriage, Self Marriage, Buying Home, Renovation Home etc (but you will get amount as per specification)

4.b. What are the documents to be submitted to PF Office for withdrawal?

Reply- Form 19 & 10C Along with form 3A if matter is more than 3 years old then you have to provide Adress ID proof of that employee.

4.c. Can it be done online or sending hard-copies of the required documents to PF Office is mandatory?

Reply - Now you will have to send hard copy of the same because online process of claim is in process but not completed yet by PF deptt.

5. Is withdrawing PF amount, an employer's responsibility or employee's?

Reply- Both - you need co-ordination with each other.

6. Who is the immediate point of contact, if we need any assistance regarding PF related issues or questions? Could you please provide us their contact details if any?

Reply- Your nearest PF office reception.
