How Can We Make a Class on Nepotism Engaging with Fun Activities?

Aishwarya8
I am a member of the HR club in my college, and we have to conduct an activity-based class on the topic of "nepotism." Please suggest what type of activity should be conducted to make the class engaging and interesting.

Understanding Nepotism in Industry and Business

Nepotism in industry and business, especially, means showing undue favors to a particular employee for various reasons, such as granting leave when the employee is not eligible, promotion, performance review, etc. An income tax officer showing favors to an assessee or a government official sanctioning something when the applicant is not eligible are examples of nepotism. Nepotism is prevalent in all walks of life, as we often see in the media. For more enlightenment, please refer to the link mentioned in the above post by our learned friend, Mr. Simhan.

Best wishes.

I suggest you construct a role play depicting a situation where the manager makes a biased decision, and then have a debrief on what nepotism is, why it should be avoided, and how to prevent it.

Kirti
