Dear seniors,
Hi, I am Kumar, working as an HR Assistant in Dubai for the past two years at a manufacturing/industrial company. I got this opportunity through a reference, which I now realize was my first mistake.
This is my first job, and from the start of my career, there have always been problems. In my department, there are five people, including the HR manager. He recruited me over the phone when I was in India. After I came here, they placed me in reception, which I opposed, and then they moved me to the HR department. Until now, I haven't received any recognition from management. However, I have learned a lot, which will help boost my career in the future. In the past 3 to 4 days, my manager hasn't given me proper work. My tasks have been gradually transferred to my colleague. We both mixed up the work and completed the tasks successfully. Now, I feel a change in my manager's behavior.
I am really confused and depressed. I always prioritize my job first. I need job satisfaction before any benefits. It seems like they don't want me to work here because there is too much politics going on. But I am sure I haven't made any mistakes in my work. I don't know what to do now. Should I proceed with my resignation letter? Please advise me in this regard.
Thanks and Regards,
Kumar
