Hi Deepak, I just wanted to know how to calculate or define a fixed amount for local conveyance. Here, local conveyance refers to modes like auto-rickshaws, shared autos, buses, etc. Our company is looking to offer a fixed amount for local conveyance to our employees.

Please contact the offices of the Municipal/State transport authorities and Associations of Taxi and Auto. Collect their tariff cards, decide on the average distance for which such conveyance is proposed to be paid to the employee, arrive at a median of the rates of all these modes logically, and determine the quantum.
