I am working with an MNC as an HR manager. Last week, a senior manager left due to resignation. We could not arrange a send-off function on the last day as per our company's rules. Our management informed us that if an employee resigns, there will be no function. However, if an employee continues their service for more than 3, 5, or 10 years, then we should give them a gift to appreciate their longer tenure.
