Minimum Wage Confusion: Does It Cover All Employees, Including Executives?

Dear All, Is the minimum wage applicable only to different classes of work in the various scheduled employments, or is it applicable to all office employees across the hierarchy working in any industry? Do executive-level or manager-level employees also fall under the minimum wage act? Please suggest.

The simple answer is yes. The MW Act is for the scheduled employment, and it includes all employees employed therein. The law does not exclude office staff from its purview. All are covered under the Act.
