Eg. Payment of wages act limit is now 18000 not 10000

Payment of Bonus Act Wage limit Rs.3,500/- to Rs,5,000/-
eligible criteria enhanced up tp Rs.10,000/- but bonus calculation wage limit is enhanced Rs.3500/- to Rs.5000/-

None of these Amndts can be termed recent in fag end of 2013.The amndt in POB Act is non existing.

It depends on the age and the salary of the injured employee at the time of death..If the salary is more than Rs8000/-pm it is deemed as 8000/ only.If it is less than 8000/- actual is reckoned.
The calculation is;
50% of salary X Factor assigned to the age of employee at the time of death or Rs one lakh which ever is more.
An employee aged 30 and with salary of Rs 10000/-. is died.he is eligible for compensation of Rs 831920/-
ie 50% X 8000 X 207.98
If his salary was Rs 7800/- he would have got Rs 811122/-
