Workplace Accidents and Illnesses: What Are Employer Responsibilities Without ESI Coverage?

My company, which is out of the ESI coverage area, please guide me on what the responsibility of the employer is as per the rule when an employee meets with an accident in the workplace or falls ill. Does workmen's compensation cover illness or small injuries at work? Please suggest how we should act in this situation.

Workmen Compensation Coverage

Workmen compensation will cover the legal liability of the employer in case of major accidents within the site. It will not cover illness or small injuries.
