ESIC Payment Glitch: What to Do When Your Balance Is Deducted but No Challan Is Generated?

I have made an ESIC payment for my organization. Unfortunately, after the payment, the page froze, and despite waiting for a long time, the issue was not resolved, and no challan was generated. I did not note the challan number because every time I made a payment, there were no issues. However, today a problem occurred. Kindly suggest what I should do.

Steps to Retrieve Challan Details

Please go to modify challan and select the month for which the challan was generated. You will then be able to view the details of your challan and print it from there.

Dear sir, in modify challan, it is not showing for the month of the failed transaction. There is no challan number with me. Will the ESIC office provide me with the challan if I show them the transaction details? Kindly suggest.

Firstly, please let me know the period of payment and when you made the payment. Secondly, have you informed or communicated with the ESIC department in this regard? Thirdly, have you tried to generate a new challan copy for the same period? Once again, please verify the bank payment details and compare them with your challan details. Kindly update me on the status of the first three points, and then I will provide you with a comprehensive end-to-end solution.

I have paid my ESIC challan through online net banking, and the same amount was deducted from my Corporation Bank account. However, now, in the "generate challan" mode, the paid amount is not showing up. Could you please assist me in resolving this issue?

Please go to this link - https://www.esic.in/ESICInsurance1/R.../eChallan.aspx and enter your Employer code and the Captcha code displayed. Then click on the Search button. You can obtain your challan number along with payment details if the transaction is successful.

In the above situation, an acknowledgment of the amount paid has been received. You need to go online for double verification of the challan. Enter the challan number, and you will receive the acknowledgment.

Go to the regional office and tell them about the problem. Your problem will be solved immediately, and a challan will be generated.

How to Access and Pay ESIC E-Challans

Go to the ESIC home page. On the bottom left of the [ESIC: Portal Application](http://www.esic.in/ESICInsurance1/ESICInsurancePortal/PortalLogin.aspx#) page, you can see the "PAY e-challan" option. Enter your Employer Code and Captcha code. You will see links to those challans that were generated by you but couldn't be paid online at that time, mainly due to internet or bank portal connectivity problems. Click the links to deposit the challans.

However, it's really nonsensical on the part of ESIC/Wipro that they didn't provide this option after the employer logs in using their ID and password. It's a total waste of time for employers. It really frustrated me today.
