I would suggest that this is not a good way to recruit staff. To minimize any risk to your company, you should follow an established Recruitment and Selection process to ensure you get the best candidates for the position.
Without interviewing these people, you do not know if they have the skills and experience you need, the ability to do the job, or the temperament and ability to fit in with your current staff. Hiring staff is an expensive process. Make a mistake and hire the wrong person, and your costs will skyrocket. This can result in a loss of productivity, damage to the company's reputation, negative effects on staff morale, and additional costs to employ someone else.
I would advise thinking this through very carefully.
