Struggling to Claim My PF After Leaving Job: What Steps Can I Take Next?

gko3065
Hi there,

I was relieved of my last employment almost a year ago and am now self-employed. I forwarded my PF claim form to my ex-employer with all the details duly filled in after 3 months from the date of relief. I have been following up on the matter with them since then. However, they are not inclined to forward my application to the concerned office of the Regional Provident Fund Commissioner. Please advise on alternate or further action required from my side to claim my due PF amount accrued during the 5 years and 8 months of service with the organization.

Krishan

Hi Krishan,

To withdraw the PF amount, you need to fill out two forms - Form-19 & 10C. Simply get your forms signed by the authorized signatory of the previous company and submit them to the EPF organization. The transfer of the PF amount is a time-consuming process.

Hi Shabana,

The relevant forms have already been forwarded to them. However, the issue is that they are not forwarding the same to EPF with their endorsement. This seems to be a common issue among those who have previously left the organization. What should be the next steps?

Regards,
Krishan
