Who Handles NOC for Diesel Generator Installation in Factory: Factory, MPCB, or Electricity Office?

A Diesel Generator (DG) has been installed in the factory. Who is the authority to obtain the NOC/permission to install the DG (Factory Office/MPCB Office/Electricity Office)?

The authority to approve permission for Charging Transformer & DG is the "Electrical Inspector" from the Industries, Energy, and Labour Department in Yerwada, Pune, for the Pune region.

Hi All,

As per Rule 47A, all installations under 10KW do not require an installation certificate, but many states in India have made amendments to this. If anyone has any such notification, kindly provide the same.

I require this information urgently. I am a Compliance Auditor and need to be informed whenever I come across any issues.
