I resigned from my previous company last year in November and joined a new company. I submitted my PF in the previous company in April, and last month, I received an email from the PF office stating that the name mentioned in the PF form does not match the name they have in their records. They have sent me a document showing a different name in my PF number. I have informed my previous company about this issue, but I haven't received any response from them. Despite multiple follow-ups through email, I have not been able to get any resolution.

Please advise me on what steps I should take. If they do not take any action, what are the legal options available to me? I do not want to leave this matter unresolved.
