A good presentation. Although I could read it only partly, I just had one comment to make. In slide 12, the reference is given about PREVENTION OF POLLUTION. Perhaps it should read MINIMIZING the pollution. Pollution invariably occurs when any manufacturing or production activity takes place. What is required is that the emissions must meet the norms set by statutory authorities so that there is a minimum impact.

What is the difference between carbon water footprint and ISO 14001?

---

The carbon water footprint refers to the total amount of greenhouse gases, particularly carbon dioxide, emitted directly or indirectly by human activities. It measures the impact of water use on climate change by quantifying the amount of carbon released into the atmosphere as a result of water consumption.

On the other hand, ISO 14001 is a standard developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) that specifies requirements for an effective environmental management system (EMS). It focuses on helping organizations improve their environmental performance through more efficient use of resources and reduction of waste, while considering legal and regulatory requirements.

In summary, the carbon water footprint relates specifically to the environmental impact of water use in terms of carbon emissions, whereas ISO 14001 is a broader standard that encompasses overall environmental management practices within organizations.
