How Are Companies Updating Local Conveyance Policies with Rising Fuel Costs?

Request for Local Conveyance Policy Update

My organization is looking to revise the rates for local conveyance, as the current policy is not in line with the fuel prices. I would request HR fraternity members to kindly share the current conveyance policy in your organization, mainly in the mechanical and software sectors, like a tech centre.

Instead of mentioning fixed conveyance allowances, why can't you calculate something based on fuel price, distance, and type of vehicle?

Example Calculation:

For Car: Fuel price × 0.12 × KM
For Bike: Fuel price × 0.047 × KM

You can adjust the multiplying factor as needed.
