Stuck Without PF Numbers After 6 Months – How Can Employees Check Their Balance?

rakeshmba
All employees have been contributing to their PF since March 2013, but we have not yet received our PF numbers. I have requested this information from the employer, and the response was that it is still in progress and undergoing consultancy processes.

What Can Employees Do?

What can employees do in this situation? Is there an alternative way to check our PF balance and obtain our PF numbers?

Thank you.

Since EPFO is online now, the employer has to allot the PF number to employees in the joining month itself. Without this, no ECR can be submitted online, and there is also no generation of challan for payment.

If the employer has been making remittances of your PF since March 2013, he should have the details of the PF number allotted to you and should provide it to you. You can find out the details of remittances made by your company by its name on the portal and also find out your number. Do research on the PF portal.

Respected Mr. Keshav Korgaonkar, I appreciate your prompt reply. I had researched that and found the company name, a list of all month contributions, and a list of all employees only. However, I didn't find the PF number on that site.
